The Angus Profile

In September, the American Angus
Association (AAA) and Merial began offering an Angus-specific DNA profile to Angus members. Results of the Igenity® Angus profile will be incorporated into the Angus genetic database and used in the December running of the Spring 2010 National Cattle Evaluation (NCE) to provide Angus members genomic-enhanced expected progeny differences (EPDs).
